John Anderson, Chairman
John Anderson is the principal of Purplefish Capital Ltd. which is an investment company. He specializes in raising capital, focusing on resource companies and projects. Since 2005, he has been a General Partner in Aquastone Capital LLP, a US-based gold fund. He is also the Chairman of Cadan Resources Corp. which is a gold-producing company in the Philippines. As well, he sits on the board of junior exploration companies.
Simon Anderson, CA, CFO
Simon is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting, corporate finance and management with public companies. He is a director or officer of several Canadian and US-listed companies ensuring public disclosure meets current standards and planning and implementing acquisitions and divestitures. Previously, Simon was a partner with an international accounting and consulting firm practicing in the areas of business valuation, mergers and acquisitions and business planning services.
Paul D. Gray, P.Geo., Director and CEO
Has worked extensively as an exploration geologist in the mineral exploration industry in Canada, the United States, Asia and Central and South America, concentrating on base metal, precious metal and uranium exploration. Served as President and COO of Doublestar Resources Ltd. until it was acquired by Selkirk Metals Corp. in July of 2007. Currently, he is the principal of Paul D. Gray Geological Consultants, and sits on the boards of Geo Minerals Ltd. and Argus Metals Corp., where he is a key contributor.
Bijay Ram Singh, Director
Bijay Singh started his career in the financial services field. Working with one of the largest financial services company in North America Bijay provided long-term financial strategies for both individuals and businesses. After working as an investment advisor for a period of five years Bijay left in 1999 to pursue endeavors in the public markets. From 1999 to 2001 Bijay worked with various public and private companies providing services in the area of corporate finance, product and business development, corporate negotiations/relations and coordinating public relations and investor relations. In June of 2001 Bijay joined SNJ Capital Ltd. as Project Manager.
Bjoern Paffrath, Director & VP, Corporate Development
Mr. Paffrath has over 15 years of extensive experience in the financial markets and the commodity sector. Before he worked as president and head of trading for an international asset management company, he was a broker in the US and Europe. In 2008 he started his own business in Switzerland as independent financial advisor and focused on public mineral junior & exploration companies. His main responsibilities include advising management on corporate strategy and finance activities. Mr. Paffrath works closely with several leading European and North American asset management firms and mutual funds, which specialize in the natural resources sector. He has an extensive network of contacts within the financial community including investment advisors, fund managers, industry analysts, brokers and media throughout North America, the United Kingdom and continental Europe. Mr. Paffrath holds a University degree in economics & business administration and is a Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
Alan Sexton M.Sc, P.Geo., Director
Mr. Sexton is a geologist with over 30 years of experience in the mining and exploration industry. His experience includes managing all aspects of exploration on large scale regional exploration programs to advanced definition drilling programs. In addition, he has supervised the geotechnical components of preliminary economic assessments and prefeasibility studies. He is a Qualified Person, as defined by National Instrument 43-101, and has experience working in mineral exploration for a variety of commodities and mineral deposit types throughout Canada, as well as in the United States, Australia and South Africa.
He is currently a principal of GeoVector Management Inc. an Ottawa, Ontario based consulting firm which provides project management, as well as resource evaluation and estimation for resource companies.
Mr. Sexton has a M.Sc. in geology from Acadia University and is an active member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (NAPEGG), the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (APGO) and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL).
